	Held the second and third weekend of May. This tour features private gardens not normally open to the public. These gardens present a wide range of styles and sizes while downtown Madison’s micro-climate provides favorable conditions for interesting flora and fauna of predominantly southern climates.

Ohio River Valley Folk Festival	Held the third weekend in May. Madison’s newest festival featuring a variety of folk music and storytelling. Top folk artists performing American, Celtic, French and English tunes.

East End Walking Tour of Homes & West End Walking Tour of Homes	(year round - check with the Madison Visitor's Center) View dozens of Madison's most beautiful buildings and antique homes. Even the most discriminating enthusiast will be impressed with the beauty and elegance of most of Historic Downtown Madison.

Madison's Old Court Days	(Memorial & Labor Day weekends - Fri, Sat & Sun) This is one huge flea market that dominates most of downtown Madison. People come from all over the country to browse and buy unique items from antiques to hand made crafts and furniture.

Cam River Car Show	Held the last Saturday in May. Walk along Madison’s Riverfront and enjoy the many classes of automobiles in this crowd pleasing show. From American to Import, Stock to Lowrider, come pick out your favorite!

Old Court Days	Held the last weekend in May and last weekend in September. Open air craft show held around the County Courthouse Square. Shop for crafts and collectibles, or enjoy the food and fellowship.

	Held the first weekend in July. Watch powerful hydroplanes racing on the Ohio River at speeds of over 200 mph! The Regatta is a week-long festival of events, including a beauty pageant, fireworks, music, parade, hot air balloon race, 10K walk/run and culminating with the racing of the Indiana Governor’s Cup on the mighty Ohio River.

	Held the third weekend in August. Two-day treat for the taste buds! Madison is the location for the annual Indiana State barbeque cook-off, sanctioned by the Kansas City Barbeque Society, held along the Ohio Riverfront. Blues music, balloon races, food and fun for the whole family.

Canaan Fall Festival	Held the second weekend in September. Watch the only real pony express mail run in the US. Enjoy old fashioned parade, flea market, craft booths, stage entertainment, food, contest, and pony rides.

	Held the last weekend in September. Enjoy southern Indiana’s premier open-air juried fine arts and crafts show with over 280 booths. Show features artisans and craftsmen from across the nation. Live musical entertainment held at two locations and a Riverfront FoodFest along the Ohio River will tempt your taste buds.

	Biennial tour offered on even years, the third weekend in October. This highly successful tour, sponsored by the local Tri Kappa Sorority, showcases a variety of private historic homes during peak fall foliage season.

	Held the last weekend in November and the first weekend in December. This festive holiday home tour sets the mood for the season, highlighting four public house museums and five private homes (not normally open to the public) all decked out for the holiday season. Carriage rides and strolling carolers add to the charm of the tour.
